Kahote exists to help artisans and makers who live in challenging economic and social areas sell more products so they can create jobs. Kahote does this by consistently purchasing larger volumes of handcrafted jewelry, accessories and home decor items and marketing them globally, greatly expanding their reach.

Pauline
Pauline is an expert artisan who works with five other women in Ahero, Kenya. She primarily makes beaded earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and other jewelry items.
David
David has been crafting items from wood and bones for 20 years. He works alone as he has does not earn enough to pay others to help him.
Monica
Monica works with a group of widows to make woven baskets and other hand-crafted items in Ahero, Kenya.
Antony
Antony is an experienced craftsman from Kenya who makes leather goods including sandals.
Fiona
Fiona works with Monica along with a group of widows to make woven baskets and other hand-crafted items in Ahero, Kenya.
Mannase
Manasse is an amazing individual with a huge heart for widows and orphans in Kenya. He has been an invaluable partner to Kahote, as he is able to connect us with makers and artisans who really need the most help in selling their beautiful products.
